Better structure and armament of Inf.Squad?

If we take a look on infantry squad or section of armies from various countries, in general 2 types of organization and armement can be found.

Type 1 or US Army/USMC type: Infatry squad (section) classicaly consists from 3 Fire Teams and Squad Leader. Each Fire Team consists from:
- Team Leader, armed with rifle or carbine;
- Automatic Rifleman, armed with 5,56mm M-249 MkII SAW;
- Grenadier, armed with rifle or carbine equipped with underbarrel grenade launcher;
- Assistant of Automatic Rifleman, armed with rifle or carbine.
Totally, there are 13 soldiers in the squad.

Type 2 or Soviet type: Infantry squad acting as one entity, however, is armed with one but more powerful 7,62mm machine gun, AT Weapon (RPG or Carl Gustaf) and, sometimes, sniper or designated marksman rifle. The remaining soldiers are armed with rifles or carbines, 1-2 underbarrel grenade launchers could be present, too.
Totally, there are 5...9 soldiers in the squad.

How do you think, which model is better or prefferable?

No expert here but Soviet type? This is the pretty much standard squad/section used by all nations.

Leader
LMG Team
RPG Team
Riflemen
Designated Marksman Possibly.

LMG & RPG teams consist of 2 sometimes 3 men.
Riflemen now are becoming less common might only have 1 or 2 they might instead form a second LMG or GL team. Squad sizes vary 5-10

If you are expecting a low armour threat might leave the RPG at home & try to get your hands on another LMG or a GL. Marines I would expect to work mainly in this sort of enviroment hence no RPGs or just support squad plus the ATGM guys tagging along

Riflemen are still needed for CQB, because soldiers from LMG or RPG teams are too `heavy` and thus slow.

From other side, CQB is not priority of regular army - CQB is more needed for units, involved in counter-insurgency (and they mostly has a less need of machine guns and RPGs).
