Im a bit bored and im wonderin what you think the best weapons in the world are. I wouldnt mind reasons either, just to fulfil my curiosity.

I added 19, Best Martial arts, and if you say street fighting or, "I don't need no Martial Arts because i was born to fight" then your a dumbass and i will kill you with my hands while your holding a knife.
 
I wouldnt get so cocky about street fighters being dumbass's... they may be alot of things, but one thing they arent is dumb, obviously to be able to live that long fighting on the streets, sure you may have the know how, but when it actually comes to using it, they have the kill or be killed additude and the experience which will make them be able to react better and take a punch better than you can even believe; youll probably end up dead in a dumpster somewhere with your additude becuase in a street fight they dont care what you know, or how you know it, all they care about is you being down on the ground bleeding or maimed... just my .02$ but def. should be a wakeup call to ya
 
Yea well the reason i say it is because i WAS street fighter and i thought i could kick everyone's ass, and i could, until i met someone who actually could fight and they kicked the shit out of me, before that happened i used to beat 4 people at a time, i was cocky and i talked alot of crap and i could back up every word, but i met someone who actually WAS born to fight and he beat me down, it was a priest, after he beat me down, he picked me up and gave me one of those violence doesn't solve anything speeches, since that was the first time i ever lost, i listened to him and turned my life around, the main point is that everyone who grew up on the streets thinks they can fight, but that is bullshit, i know because i was around those people all day and they all thought they could kick ass because they grew up in the "ghetto".

Ever seen a dedicated student of Shaolin fight a street fighter, it is truly sad, or how bout a Krav Maga Grandmaster fight multiple street fighters, it is really sad what happened to the street fighters.

you ever been in a street fight that lasted 2 hours, talk to me when you have.

The M1 rifle. No Army in WW2 had a weapon this capable as a standard issue rifle for the masses. The Wehrmacht carried the Mauser 98.

The BAR as light MG

The 50cal as HMG.

The MG42 as MMG.

The M1 carbine as a close in weapon. Liked so much that German paratroopers prefered it and used them when captured.

Thompson 45 as Sub MG. Reliable with a lot of knock down power for the close in fight.

M1911 as pistol in WW2.

Contrary to popular belief, the US infantry man was very well equiped in WW2.

The equipment for our Infantry was fabulous. Some would prefer the 1911 today over all the newer gee wiz SIGs and H&Ks and guess what? H&K now brings you a 1911 reencarnate.
 
Strictly opinion (having not used many of them)
Keep in mind, this may vary depending on the use.

1. The USMC's Ka-Bar is a nice fighting knife, i actually use one for deer hunting.
2. Colt 1911, or any Berreta M9 model.
3. MP5k models.
4. Any of the colt Carbines or G3 series rifles are fantastic.
5. M40A1
6. M240 SAW (Much like the M249, 'cept 7.62)
