Best tank to restore

Well problem you'll find restoring many tanks is the availibilty of parts and schematics to fabricate one's you can't buy or salvage.

Good thing about many mass produced American tanks from the War is that the big three auto makers made so many of them it's not very hard to scrouge parts to get a restored vehicle running again.

More rarer tanks such as Tigers, and some British tanks like the Crusader are at a loss of a ready part supply. That's why so few examples today can move under their own power. And why many restoration professionals seem to hold these types of vehicles for later in their careers.
 
I'd opt for a Scorpion, cheaper to run (about 1.6 km's per litre) as opposed to 4 gallons a mile for the Centurian with its range of 50 miles before it needed refuelling.
 
Yea, not a bad choice, any of the cvr range would suit.
Don't get a Fox though, they are rubbish. Even by British standards
