But if you have nothing else you must improvise.. 8)

Actually, I have a very old Navy SEAL training manual that advocates using a sentry's own helmet for that purpose.

Hmm...it'd almost have to be electric. So the question should be "What if you run out of battery power?"

It was last used with great effect about two years ago in Iraq by the Black Watch [if I remember rightly]

LOL, I don't know what would happen if you ran out of gas... take off the chain and use it as a regular bayonet maybe? Who knows, it's just a video game I didn't think anyone would actually notice.

I know a guy who was recently a live training aid for bayonet practice. 23 holes from a tribladed Chinese bayonet. He now has a smaller stomach, one less kidney and impaired liver function... I'd say the bayonet is just fine the way it is.

I had an Uncle who stabbed in the but-tooocks by a loyal subject of the most revered Emperor of Nippon. He nearly bleed out and had a permenant limp. Yeah bayonets work.
