Why not give some of he permenantly banned mebers a chance to return and maybe redeem themselves. Some of them might have changed.

There is a very good reason why they have been banned, so they are not getting in unless they contact me themselves and gives me a VERY good reason to let them in again..

We do also give temporary bans for minor rule violations, and we do let them in again after normally 2-5 days.

Whats stopping them join under a new name?

In Irish sites they give penilty points so we know where were close to being banned

We use warnings and temporary bans if it is serious enough, and rely on the poster's intelligence to tell them when they've gone too far (that's what the forum rules are there for).
