BAGHDAD, May 15 -- Iraq's government began enforcing a ban on the news media photographing the aftermath of bomb attacks. Iraqi officials said it would keep photographers and television cameramen away from such scenes to prevent them from tainting evidence. But media watchdog groups expressed concern that the order was aimed at stopping images of Iraq's chaos from being shown around the world.
Police turned away photographers and cameramen Tuesday at the scene of bomb attacks in Tayaran Square in central Baghdad that killed seven people and wounded 17, the Associated Press reported.
