Bad a$$ Marine

Didn't do anything for me. Seemed to be a bit of a waste of time really.
It's probably just a cultural thing, but in Australia he would be seen as a time wasting show-pony.

AussieNick, you never wasted time while in the shit?
Never took a bit of home with you on deployment?
Never took the time to do something normal in a situation that was far from just that, normal?

To you, this right here might not be normal.
To him, this might be part of home. The only part he can bring.

I can feel where he´s coming from, although I might not have done it in a rap.
Furthermore I might not have gotten it published on youtube.
But to each his own.

I hope he does his job and gets back.
He has earned the right.

I'm not trying to take anything away from him at all. Just making a comment about cultural differences that's all.

Well the whole youtube thing was an accident; he wasn't even aware that it was on the internet until Foxnews contacted him and wanted him on to talk about it. Also, according to the Marine, his style isn't exactly "rap," it's a form of poetry that you might see in a performing arts club or on a stage somewhere, but it's not necessarily considered rap here in the States. I'll see if I can find a link to where I saw the interview.
