Attack on Kirkuk hospital to free detainee: three dead

KIRKUK, Iraq, Dec 7 (AFP) - A group of some 20 armed men early Wednesday
attacked the main hospital in Kirkuk, north of Baghdad, freeing a detained
member of a cell planning to assassinate a judge trying Saddam Hussein and
killing three police officers, police and hospital sources said.
