Ok heres the deal, I joined the army back in 2010 to be n Army Diver, i didnt make it because of one test that i failed, i was not llowed to stay in because they hadf no other job openings, am now where I am able to reenlist which I want to, but instead of going the diver rout, I was thinking of joining the USCG and becoming a AST SAR rescue swimmer.

I know the failure rate for Dive school is 80%+, but i made it pretty far, and the DPFT wasnt a problem for me, i blew past it with ease. i am still a great, if not BETTER swimmer then before, so i am confident I can make it through AST rescue swimmer course.

My question is what do you think my chances are after not being able to pass Army Diver.

All the Rescue Swimmer jobs are Air Crew Rates/MOS's in the USCG/USN/USMC, so if you qualify for that it could be an option.
