Army Aviation ETP

As it stands I'm a senior in Army ROTC fighting to go Aviation in the National Guard. I have a little over two years in the National Guard already and signed a dedicated National Guard scholarship. I had part 1 of my flight physical today and according to the flight surgeon who performed the test my left eye is a fly's fart too astigmatic - in other words I'm BARELY over the limit for astigmatism in just my left eye, but my right eye is within standard and I still have 20/20 vision. Everything else for part 1 was in order. Assuming Part 2 is all within standard can I reasonably expect to get an exception to policy even though I have -1.25 for astigmatism in just my left eye? By "reasonably expect" I don't mean "if I apply for an ETP I'll get it" I mean "if I apply for an ETP I do have more than a fat chance at getting it."

If not I'll be investing in a jaunty eye patch in the near future. :pirate2:
