With Arafat's Death, will there be peace?

Looks like nobody expects peace to reign in the Mid-east, is there no one in Israel and Palestine, along with the other nations there who is willing to at least give it a try? Hardliners seem to dominate every entity involved, has there been not enough death and destruction? :?: Is it really destined or fated that war and hatred would reign in that region? or is it just the fact that nobody is willing to give peace and dialogue a try?

What is it really all about? Land? Religion? Economics? or is it just pure and simple Hatred and Intolerance?

Surface talk don't produce any good work.

Some said Arafat were peace-maker. Some said he supported Hamas

My personal hearing was Hamas did not have any relationship with Arafat. And Israelis did built a wall that across the Palestinian territory.

Why don't u guyz show out evidence and prove for you own debate?

We do not know which side was rite and which side was wrong actually. As nobody also know who started this conflict first (Palestinian or Israel first).

Don't think we are getting off topic. Because we r here to discuss about the possible development between the Israel-Palestinian matters after Arafat's death. We must originally look at things more overall by including certain issues in. It's nessasary.

Can we take a leaf out of our world leaders for once and show respect for the death and hope and wish for a better new era of a begining.
