AP - President Felipe Calderon on Thursday rejected U.S. concerns that Mexico is losing control of its territory to drug cartels and allowing violence to spiral out of control.

Yeah he hasn't "lost" any territory. The Mexican Gov just doesn't control some territory (Like the entire Border Zone) the cartels do. Just me but I don't see a real proactive Mexican effort to regain control.

Obama inspired them as part of the "New Leftist Revolution". Probably thinks they are gonna get a spread the wealth stimulas outta this.
