Someone threw this away. I think it is steel. But there is nasty crapola on top. We're going to clean it up. Saw something like it around here somewhere. Anything would be helpful. It does have three nubbies on the bottom like it was attached to something. I just think it's beautiful. Latin of course on the banner. On left side of banner it says "unum". Cannot make out right side. I know in my brain what it says, but can't remember!
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think you will find that it says E pluribus unum which is the motto on the US Great Seal.
It roughly means "Out of Many, One" and you find it on everything including the one dollar note.
