*laugh* That came out pretty much right after 9/11/01...good stuff.

On a similar but different topic, I was on a cruise for vacation once -- the ship hadn't spent a night in port in about a month, so the crew hadn't been able to get any time off in about that time and they were getting a little restless (although the service was still outstanding). Meanwhile, we were steaming towards Bermuda, where we had a two-night layover (from what I recall) -- so of course, the crew was also getting excited for some liberty as well.

At lunch one day, during the routine bridge report, the first officer was giving his report when he started choking back laughter. None of us could figure out what was going on until, finally at the end, he closed with (and imagine this said in a Scottish accent): "The crew is reminded that the floggings will continue until morale improves!"

Needless to say, everyone in the restaurant (waitstaff and passengers included) burst out laughing. :)
