Pakistan is in a fix really. She has her problems with India. And USA is emerging as a non-ally. In fact, USA, it is being discussed in world media, may be harboring ideas of starting open hostilities with Pakistan. A cornered Pakistan has only China to run to.
 
I am not sure I agree on this one as it must be incredibly difficult for the US to put a positive spin on its relationship with Pakistan given that it is harbouring many of its enemies and then there was the whole selling nuclear information and equipment to the North Koreans thing.

In reality I would suggest that Pakistan is more a thorn in the side of the US rather than an ally.
