Reuters - Should Iran's rulers ever make good their threats to block the Straits of Hormuz, they could almost certainly achieve their aim within a matter of hours.

I think that the outcome of any attempt of this kind, would certainly be much more definitive than other military actions in the area, and would leave Iran with a bloodied nose, ringing ears and severely dented ego.
