I am currently playing..

Just started playing Just Cause, gameplay is similar to San Andreas, story is similar to Mercenaries and the environment is like Far Cry, so far an interesting little game.
Couple of peeves though, helicopters can go straight or they can go straight veeery slowwwly, short take off planes need a long runway (?) and why do we have Ricardo Montalban with a mullet as our hero.

I recently began the Company of Heroes campaign, but I've been too preoccupied with the gorgeous graphics to be an effective commander.

I just popped in an A8N32SLI Deluxe, AMD 64 X2 4400 and a GeForce 7600 (512) so I'm replaying most of the games I've picked up in the last couple of years! :D :D :D

I recently reinstalled UT2004 and I am currently playing two mods for it;
Killing Floor 2.01: http://www.killingfloor.freedomsnet.net/
Alien Swarm 1.31: http://www.blackcatgames.com/swarm/info

They are two of my favorite mods. Killing Floor is unpolished and buggy, but the gameplay and community keep me coming back (also I just love fighting hordes of zombies). Alien Swarm: Infested is an updated version for the Source engine that will be available for purchase on Steam when it's complete.

I don't like UT, the graphics for the latest edition weren't very impressive and the gameplay was pretty lame. Why do i say these things? I don't play online obviously. The bots are just stupid, though if someone can ever perfect the gaming AI for 1 on 1 fights, you'd never need another person to play with you again. That and the game is saturated with weapons, it's just too much of an inventory after a while.

I meant the latest version of UT which was 2006 or something, i didn't think the graphics were very good, especially compared to the other shooters of the time. It's a strange game since it was originally designed for the dreamcast to compete with pc shooters, isn't it ironic, don't you think?

UT is sent in a modern day where people slaughter it out for a competition....

The newest UT coming out is looking pretty sick plus the game is fully modable...

I got more somewhere ;)

Here is a site that describes what it is pretty well and has a bunch of media

I dislike UT2K4's gameplay as well, but I don't know what your talking about with the graphics... When it was released, they were pretty much the best around. Each new version of Unreal Engine has a tendency of raising the bar for all other PC games.

The main reason I bought it at the very reasonable price of $30 was so I could play Red Orchestra before Ostfront was a glimmer in the developers' eyes, Alien Swarm, and Killing Floor, all great mods.

Interesting.

Hey any of you guys getting Dark Messiah Might & Magic?

I head alot of "not so good" things about it :?

Play the demo it is pretty ill I will be getting it and a co-worker just got it...The no so good hting about it is, well this will happen with many games in the future, the minimum requirements are up there....

What get's me interested is the multiplayer online.... It is a BF2 style war only the maps are linked so you are pushing forward and back....kind of like Wolf Enemy Territory....
