POE 2 is FREE :)

Civilzation 4 warlords is a pretty good expansion. The new scenarios are fun and it's still addictive once you think you have a chance against the AI. I was playing for over 6 hours straight one itme.

lol, I only olay custom missions.. And i let the peasants work by themselves, you know? press the option where u let them decide whats better for the land, and so they go work on it. I dont know why but, I kind of lost interest after few hours. Also Age of Empires3, I lost interest. My kind of stratergy game is more like Rome Total war, or basically the total war games :)

Hey Donkey, ok so I got it now ;-) but now what? I mean.. I got the file, about 1GB, and what exactly should i do now? or what does that file do?

thanks :)

uncompress it and install it......

then you can go to game-monitor.com and find a server ip....

I have selected the optinons u need to find POE servers here:
http://game-monitor.com/search.php?game=bf2&rulename=gamevariant&ruleval=poe2

You could use the in-game browser too by typing in POE in the server name field....But I find game-monitor is better to locate servers with....

You can also try my teams POE server

I will be playing Company of Heroes which is an RTS set in WW2 with the axis and allies. It was made by the same team who created Warhammer 40k dawn of war. I checked the ratings for this game and the reviews average out to a ridiculous 95%. I can't imagine how good the gameplay is going to be, but it will take up my time when i get it.

The gameplay is awesome, I was able to play the pre-release beta demo since I have a PC Gamer subscription. Unfortunately, my bittorrent client is broken and I don't have $50 right now.

Company of heroes is god damn awesome! Guys, go out and get it by any means whether it's legal or not, it's incredible! The level of realism not in the graphics but in the movement of your units in the environment is impressive to say the least. It really feels like you're in a ww2 battle and the game makes it so simple to go out and fight.

The one thing i'll never understand in these ww2 RTSes is that no matter how well balanced the game is, the axis forces are always better than the allies. I don't know why, but they're just better to play with imo.

Yeah

Company of Heroes comes out this week in Europe. I preordered my copy from the UK. The Demo is awesome.

My only grip is that the game is a pig. The demo clunked along and I have a pretty hardcore setup.

The learning curve it a bit painful. I'd love to see how the AI manages to build up a fleet of Stugs that fast. Seems I'm toddling along building away with my engineers, and churning out infantry units as quickly as possible then, wham-o, I've got two armored cars in my base, half a dozen Stugs pelting my front line, and a few anti-tank guns wreaking havoc everywhere else.

...if I ever figure our the cheat codes the AI uses, it's on, baby!
