Hop up, top spin, same thing.

well actually ranger there not... Top spin means that the bb would go up wards....Hop Up makes the bb curve more down for acuracy to get all technical but i hear you....

diplomatic_means trust me once your in a skirmish and you see a spray of about 100 bb's coming at you youll love it....doing tactical sweeps up to an enemy not suspecting it.....its basically like trainin for the real army

So how exactly does hop up work? Does is put a downward spin on the BB?

Now i've never Paintballed or airsoft in my life and i'm looking to get into it. So if any one has any advice on how to get into and what kinda stuff i should use or what would be good for a started it would be greatly apprecitaed
