MADRID, Dec 31, 2006 (AFP) - Already in trouble with his coach, Italian international striker Antonio Cassano missed training Saturday after he was caught in the chaos of the bombing at Barajas airport, Spanish media reported.
Cassano, widely expected to leave Real before season's end after failing to establish himself a year after joining from Italian side AS Roma, was unable to make the training session as the airport's terminal four was closed to air traffic for several hours following the blast, claimed by Basque group ETA.
The 24-year-old five million euros buy is not wanted by coach Fabio Capello - under whom he played at Roma - after failing to settle and a series of incidents which irritated the team management, including criticism of Capello.
Real's website reported that midfielder Guti was also delayed as Real reported back after their Christmas break which they began on the back of a 3-0 home reverse to Huelva that left them five points behind leaders Seville.

What is it with Real. They have got the best players, and we still see them un settled. .
