Two NATO soldiers, whose nationalities were not released, were killed when their patrol was hit by an device in Logar Province, near Kabul, a NATO statement said. Earlier, a suicide attacker rammed a car packed with explosives into a police jeep in the western city of Herat, killing a policeman. On Monday, two Canadian soldiers were killed in a suicide car bombing in Kandahar. A total of 122 foreign soldiers have been killed in action here this year, about half of them Americans. “We think these suicide attacks are attempts to seek media attention to try to shake the will of contributing nations,” a NATO spokesman Maj. Luke Knittig, said in Kabul.
