Afghan sniper footage

This is incredible footage. Very graphic... this is definitely from the .50 cal sniper rifle as an entire body is thrown off a rock from a prone position... in another shot the round hits the target in the upper right shoulder and the entire arm, scapula and part of the collar bone can be seen flying off... the finale is a bursting melon.

Makes me glad thy're on my side.

those shots are quite simply amazing. on most of them i couldnt even see what they were shooting at, let alone identify it as a target.

.50 Caliber can take the body up in the air????? If it is, yeah, just be glad that they are on USA side.

Sorry friends, but that video has nothing to do with Afghanistan or human targets. Here's where they're from:

http://www.rmvh.com/Scenes.htm

And here is a message from the shooter/camera man to another site that posted the videos:
No, I'm afraid not. This is the "real", real deal...

Those are rock chucks. Being shot with a Sako L579 sporting a Krieger barrel chambered in 6AI. Range is only about 250 yards and closer on all those shots.

How can I be sure? Simple. I was either pressing the trigger of the rifle, or pressing the record button of the camera on every one of those shots.

As previous posters have already said -- those are clips taken from one of our varmint hunting videos. Some morons have been spreading them all over the internet making up ludicrous "sniper" stories to go with the clips for about a year now.

Oh, and I own a REGISTERED copyright on this material. Please consider this a specific demand from a registered copyright holder to cease infringement. In other words, get MY video off this site and stop making up ridiculous stories about where it came from.

Thanks.

Just to be clear, bulldogg, I'm in no way implying that you're a moron. :)

I do find it odd that operators over at navyseals.com aren't aware of this misinformation. Seems like they'd be aware of what .50 BMG does to a human body.

No worries moving... I know I am a moron. :) I'm surprised about this too. Oh well, I guess we're all human after all.
