We had Hawker Hunters at RAF Tengah Singapore in the late 1960's
, with its 4 gun ADEN gun pack it was a brilliant ground attack aircraft despite being subsonic.
The Singapore Air Force bought a number of them at £1 million per aircraft, but that included a crap load of aircraft spares, pilot and ground crew training. Some Singaporeans complained about the cost of second hand aircraft, not realising what they were getting for their money, on top of that, as I said previously, they were an excellent aircraft.
