BAGHDAD - Four American soldiers were killed in Baghdad over the past two days, the U.S. military said today.
That sends the month's death toll past 100, making April one of the deadliest for American forces in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003.
The military said three soldiers had been killed by a roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad yesterday. A soldier was killed by small-arms fire, also in eastern Baghdad, on Saturday.
