2 dead, 1 wounded in MiG-29 crash

At 9 a.m. on Tuesday near the Batajnice airport, a Serbian Army plane crashed, one of five MIG-29 crafts. Pilot Rade Randjelovic was flying the plane, who ejected himself from the craft prior to the plane crash, but died from injuries sustained in the accident, Serbian media report.
During the crash, soldier Milan Ulemek also died and another soldier sustained light injuries.
Liutenant-colonel Randjelovic (42) was taking the craft for a test flight, preparing for the Kalemegdan plane meeting. He was flying low while performing one of the stunts and as the plane touched the ground, it crashed.
Serbian President Boris Tadic ordered an emergency and extensive probe, in order for responsibility to be determined.
Thus, the Serbian Army lost one of its last five MIG-29 planes, while others were lost on the ground or in air battles with NATO planes in 1993, Blic writes.

R.I.P to all those that have died in the accident. It is now very shameful for me to say that Serbia now only has 3 active modernised MiG-29's in service [The 4th one is currently being modernised in Moscow].
