Post; Your Favorite Military TV series?

What were some of your favorite Military oriented tv shows?

Go back as far as you like.

Mine are: band of brothers, 12 O'clock High!

Comedys are ok too.... MASH, Phil Silvers, McHale's Navy etc...

The only TV show I've seen with exception of Band Of Brothers is MASH, so that's my vote

As for mini-series it would have to be Band of Brothers with Das Boot comming in second. No movie or series even comes close to Band of Brothers. For TV series, Hogan's Heroes is numero uno. I watch Combat from time to time and I also liked Tour of Duty. Rat Patrol never lived up to that opening sequence with the Jeeps jumping in the air and that music in the playing in the background.

Band of Brothers for me. I absolutely loved that series. I wish they would play it through again.

MASH and Hogans Heroes, even if the Germans are very idiotic in that, but Sgt Schultz is the best.
