| Tribuni Angusticlavii | I think that with a few refinements it could be as good as the G36. After all, that's what it is on the inside. They just messed up with the weaker plastic (they need some kind of reinforcement to prevent melting and overheating like on the G36A1) and some rather shoddy integral optics that could become dislodged much like the 1.5x optical sight on the G36E. I very much like the idea of a completely modular G36 with "snap on" components. That's what the XM8 was meant to be... Also, I'd rather see America adopt a bullpup. It will take some getting used to for the soldiers trained on the AR-15 pattern weapons, but the payoff will be good since we will only be in low-intensity conflicts for the forseeable future and the decreased overall length will be an advantage in the CQC. |

| Tribuni Angusticlavii | It seems like a good CQB weapon, but I prefer the M16 Series.
