| Centurion | No, this is the interesting part, it is one of the last people who would have wanted it to lead to a halt order!

| Optio | Gerd von Rundstedt? |

| Centurion | Good try Reiben, Von Rundstedt certainly authorised the halt order, but someone else reported being attacked by "hundreds of enemy Tanks" at Arras which was taken seriously by many generals. |

| Optio | Well Rommel was one of the Generals attacked, but I already said that and you said no. Theodor Eicke? Is it a divisional commander? |

| Centurion | My apologies Reiben (and other repliers for your efforts) I saw your seperate answer 'Hitler' on the top of the page and didn't see the word Rommel pasted seperately on the previous post. My reply 'No' refered to the only message I could see on that page 'Hitler'. Rommel is the correct answer of course since he led the 7th Panzer division at Arras. He must have been kicking himself for saying this! Your turn Reiben Last edited by perseus; July 16th, 2006 at 08:22. |

1: Lack of fuel due to Luftwaffe attacks. 2: Refugees blocking the roads hampering movement. The Germans as far as I can tell had no such issues. | |
