O.K. I got one. Took me a while to get it though.

What is the most expensive military decoration in history, and how many diamonds did it have, and what was it called???

I am going to have to say it was the Soviet Order of Victory. The star is studded with 150 diamonds weighing a total of 16 carats, while the arms of the star are made out of rubies.

Wow that one lasted a whole five minutes. Congrats bigcanada813. Over to you.

The most destructive air raid of the war was against Japan's capital city, Tokyo. During the night of March 9/10, 1945, 1,665 tons of napalm-filled bombs was dropped on the city from 279 US B-29 bombers. The death toll was greater than that at Hiroshima or Nagasaki, the official count being 83,793 Japanese killed. Another 41, 000 were severely injured or burned. The Allied air attacks on Tokyo destroyed 15.8 square miles of the city.

The RAF launched a heavy attack (over 800 bombers in two separate waves, which is followed the next day by 400 bombers of the US 8th Air Force) against Dresden. The Raids are estimated to have killed in a fire-bombing holocaust, 35,000 to 135,000 people and becomes the most destructive raid of the war in Europe.
