A WWI monument in Washington?

There is discussion that a monument be erected in Washington, DC, on a similar scale as the recently-opened WWII memorial. Frank Buckles, 109 years old and America's only living survivor of the war, recently made the relatively short trip from his home in Charles Town, WV, to Washington to lobby for this effort. While it is true that the number of Americans killed in the war (about 364,000) is much, much less than the other Allies, I believe they still deserve this memorial.

By the way, Buckles says his key to longevity is, "When you feel like dying, don't."
