| Primus Pilus | no, the ones put on the soviet tank desoryers were the famous a-19 122mm heavy gun, it was modified from the 122mm a-19 heavy long range gun, because of its capability to deal with german heavy armor with one shot well, it really depends on how you view it, the soivet round is alot bigger and has more momentum and alot of power, while its propellant is smaller the german 88 round has a larger propellant that increases kinetic energy of its antitank round
