| Centurion | Post; At work.....When I take a long time, I am slow. When my boss takes a long time, he is thorough. When I don't do it, I am lazy. When my boss doesn't do it, he's too busy. When I do it without being told, I'm trying to be smart. When my boss does the same, that is initiative. When I please my boss, that's brown-nosing. When my boss pleases his boss, that's co-operating. When I do good, my boss never remembers. When I do wrong, he never forgets. The secretary came in late for work for the third day in a row. The boss called her into his office and said, "Now look Sharon, I know we had a wild fling for a while, but that's over. I expect you to conduct yourself like any other employee around here. Who told you that you could come and go as you please and do whatever you want around here?" Sharon simply smiled, lit up a cigarette, and while exhaling said, "My lawyer." People who do a lot of work… make a lot of mistakes. People who do less work… make less mistakes. People who do no work… make no mistakes. People who make no mistakes… get promoted. That’s why I spend most of my time sending e-mails & playing games at work. I need a promotion.

| Milforum Swamp Dweller  | What job is this fool working at? Today the boss and I were discussing the number one reason why living in a gated community sucks- you spend 400k on the house and can't walk outside to take a leak. Yes, he really had that situation at a friend's house.
