He was holding it tightly lol. If you noticed it almost knocked him on his backside. If not for the guy behind him he would have fell backwards.

Anyone ever fired a .45 and didnt hold the pistol snugly? Dang thing recoils up to your forehead lol

I thought I had held it tight enough. The guy said "I want to see white on your hands." Yeah, it almost hit me in the forehead. Needless to say I learned my lesson and held it really snug after that.

Shotguns are very tricky, when it's your first time, "oh it can't be that bad, can it?" BAM! "Ouch! "

However I was using my Uncle's .41 Magnum and I also understimated that, there's a reason you don't lock your elbows out straight with those things.
