I was just wanting to know how difficult it is for women to be Marine's?
I know the AF and the Army and they Navy but you just don't hear to much about WM's...

You don't hear about them much because there aren't too many of them. They have to go through Parris Island just like the guys. I think only 1/4 or so of the Corps(which is small enough as it is) is made up of females.

well..if they pass the Paris Island course..they have to be tough. The only ones i have seen in my career were officers though..cant verify any enlisted.

This is from The Marine Corps website:

Today, women serve in 93 percent of all occupational fields and 62 percent of all billets. Women constitute 6.2 percent of the Corps end strength and are an integral part of the Marine Corps.


I ran into quite a few WM's some Officer, some Enlisted. Some of them were tryin to prove themselves and others knew they belonged. They are the same in most aspects as a male Marine. Tryin to prove they deserve to be there.
