The F-22 would be an excelent aircraft for them to put on Aircraft carriers. However I doubt they would ever think about it now, maybe when the do some upgrade of the F-22 in 15 years they will make it carrier Avaliable.

they are developing new arresting gear for the CVNX/CVX carriers that is supposed to soften up the landings. there is a serious durability problem when it comes to the landing gear on a carrier jet. the new system is supposed to help to take weight off of the planes because the landing gear won't have to be as durable. but with that in mind, i wouldn't be surprised if the Navy somehow was able to put together a Navy version of the F22. but with as tight as the budget is, i don't see it happening anytime soon.
