| Milforum Chaplain | I was approached (actually attacked) on two fronts. On one side I had army siblings and a navy father twisting my arm to go in - as a padre - and on the other I had an personal attraction/vocation to that sort of work/ministry after ordination 16 + years now. |

| Centurion | Let's see, mostly because of my great grandfather, a retired Navy captain and WWI and II veteran. Even at age 97, he was sharp as a tack and always quick with a joke. Also, to continue a family tradition that has skipped a generation. And 9/11 kind of pissed me off as well.
