This may not be my place to say this, however, I'm going to tread very carefully and say a prayer that I'm not offending any of the men and women serving our country and say: "if it's not on paper, it doesn't mean anything." A recruiter can promise you pretty much anything they want, and if it's not on your "contract" then, don't count on it. Like I said before, I hope I don't offend anybody serving our country by saying this.
