| Tribuni Angusticlavii | Post; where we at?Sometimes the base name s can throw you.... once there were two new airmen assigned to the old Perrin AFB in Texas. now one of the airman pronounced it pear-in; the other pronounced it peer-end. Soon both got into quite a discussion on who was right. They finally decided to let a local solve the problem. Walking into a fast food establishment outside the gate, they strode up to the person behind the cash register and asked " hey buddy. How do you pronounce the name of this place where we are at?" The cashier looked at them carefully and replied " Dairry Queeeen".
