Yes, I know we have a thread already on what's your favorite war movie and even one on what's your favorite Cold War movie. I thought it might be interesting though to break it down by military branches. So here's mine:

Favorite Army movie: "Sahara" - Humphrey Bogart

Favorite Marine movie: "Gung Ho" - Randolph Scott

Favorite Navy movie: "They Were Expendable" - John Wayne

Favorite Air Force movie: "Twelve O'Clock High" - Greggory Peck

Favorite Special Forces/OPs/etc: "Where Eagles Dare" - Richard Burton

I change my pick for army from a great movie about Nam and it's effects (The Deer Hunter) to BlackHawk Down because I like the 160th SOAR parts also and not only the Ranger + Delta parts.
