Calvin & Hobbes was and so was The Far Side. Both gone now as were my other earlier comic strip favorites. I doubt anybody much below my age would remember Krazy Kat.

My favorite comic would be the Circus one. I don't remember exactly what it's called though. They are always pretty funny.
