Lotta folks don't know that "snafu" is an acronym either.

Another favorite of mine from my EM days is "dilligaf". It's yet another acronym much loved by enlisted folks.

A humorous story about "dilligaf" is in the True Funny Military Stories forum.

FUBAR or SNAFU are probably my favorites.

The one I hear the most around here though is :Tabarouette (or something along those lines...I dunno. It's just something that one of my Sgt's say when he doesn't want to swear at us).
