| Milforum Moderator  | I've been working with the recruiters lately and I can answer your question. To get in the Army, you will need a diploma or a GED. A diploma will get you in just fine. If you have a GED, you will also need 15 college semester hours (basically one semester of college) before you can join. That's how it is SSG Doody

| Milforum Moderator | no prob man... One more thing on GED's. Having a GED will limit the jobs you can get in the Army. It's much easier to have a diploma. |

| Milites Gregarius | Ummm Sir..... I just joined the army with my GED only and I didn't need any college credits at all I only had to score higher then 50 on the asvab which was 30 points lower than what I scored..... About the jobs though.... GED has limitations I scored 79 on ASVAB my councelor made special call and got me 13F anyway if your a smart cookie like my GED should be just fine!
