A banana sandwich, for my lunch.

I was going to have the banana but it was found to be over ripe, so I made a sandwich of it. It was pretty good too.

Improvised breakfast, potato sallad and herring in sour-cream.

Tastes much better than it sounds.

I sounds OK to me.

Unfortunately the only way you can get herrings here is smoked, and they are damned expensive (I like them too). I learned to like them when I worked for A/S Mosvold Shipping, many years ago

I like all of the ingredients, I'll have to try it if I get the chance.

My favourite breakfast of all time, two fried eggs, four rashers of back bacon, 2 English pork breakfast sausages, baked beans, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, four slices of crusty bread spread with lashing of slightly salted butter, washed down with a mug of tea (little milk, one sugar). Followed by a heart attack tablet.

In the Australian merchant service, the ever popular bacon sandwich was always known as "a heart attack sandwich".

I'm having flashbacks as I type this, and can taste it in my mouth,... with an egg, plenty of salt and pepper and a splash of tomato sauce. I know that it will knock a year off my life span, but it will be worth it. (Wipes drool off of the keyboard).

I shouldn't do it, but I cannot resist a bacon sarnie with brown HP sauce.

Now I'm getting hungry. Bugger.
