i didn't say you need political connections, but they most certainly help. i knew two people who got into the AFA. neither of them had political connections, but did very well in school, along with being very well rounded people. i played baseball with one guy, and he was an excellent pitcher. in fact, that could have had something to do with why AFA wanted him. he turned the AFA down and opted for Pepperdine instead.

Yea, now that i'm older, I regret not having applied to a Mil academy. I think it would have greatly enriched my life and I would be farther along now I think than what I am, not to mention I would have graduated at 20 years old, oh well....

well I do have political connections, but wether or not that might be enough for me to get in because I only took a few AP courses, but on the other hand Im good at sports.
