| Optio | Post; Warrick Capper callingJust listened to the podcast Warrick Capper Calling!, at http://www.triplem.com.au/sydney/shows/getthis/ Sorry I don’t have a direct link so look for about halfway down the page. Not sure how long it will be there as Tony Martin from Sydney’s TripleM radio show is being given the arse, apparently people tune into his show but then tune back out when he goes off air as they don’t like the music TripleM play. Can’t really blame them, music from the 80’s tends to get monotonous, especially when you can set your watch to which particular song is playing at any given time. TripleM don’t seem to have too many CD’s from the 80’s For those who don’t know who the players in the podcast are, the following should be of help but even if you don’t know them, it’s still a good laugh. Warrick Capper – Former Australian Rules football player from the 80’s most notable for his blonde mullet, his bright red AFL shorts that had a habit of constantly disappearing up his backside and his total lack of any form of intelligence Deryn Hinch – Australian TV personality most notable for his current affair programme “HINCH” Don Lane – American TV host from the 80’s and 90’s who hosted daytime TV and TV sports reporting in Australia during the 80’s and 90’s Molly Meldrum – Australian music reporter most famous for his music TV series in the 80’s “COUNTDOWN” Natasha Stott Despoya – Australian Politician George Denician – Australian sports presenter James Reyne – Australian singer-songwriter from the 80’s who is now a TV presenter Jeff Fenech – Famous Australian boxer from the 80’s
