The US government has sent two aircraft carriers to TaiWan,what do you guys think about that?

Umm they have to be somewhere I guess and I imagine Taiwan is nice this time of year?

I highly doubt that there is anything sinister in the visit after all if they were planning anything I am pretty sure they would send more than 2 carriers.

Well they have to go some where, any way I don't think the Chinese are ready or even want a confrontation over Twain

I think it's just a move to reinforce the area considering the circumstances at the moment about China. I think the'd send a lot more than 2 carriers to the area if anything was up.

Business as usual, best way to keep China and Taiwan from going at it is to keep a more powerful force in the area than either of those nations can put together.

I'm sure it was due to the elections in Taiwan, and if anything it looks as if the candidate proposing friendlier ties with PRC has won.
