| Milforum Swamp Dweller | Well, I'd like it for home defense, but I can think of two guns that top all for that... my bro's .357 magnum (soon to be mine, I hope) and an H&K MPK. Both of those, for when you absolutely, positively, have to blow away every intruder in your home. I'd say reloading would be a huge pain in combat, and weight would become a concern somewhere along the line. If I want close in fire support like that, we have things like the M-249 or LSW.

| Primus Pilus | I don't use it for home defense, but I have a Security Six that I have a lot of fun with it at the range. I'd be a bit too concerned with over penetration to use it at home. |

| Milforum Swamp Dweller | I'd agree on overpenatration if and only if I was living in a Mr. Rogers Neighborhood version of the world. When you need to blow away someone quick, fast, and in a hurry, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't care about the walls. Especially if you're a bachelor or have no one else in the house with you at the time. |

| Milforum Swamp Dweller | That's it. If someone enters my house with intent to do harm, I want that sucker in pieces. Which is why I wouldn't mind picking up an AA-12. |
