Post; Vietnamese Brides

That's the link. It was here in the news section but since no one replies there...

This has been going on for some time. The best bet for Vietnamese women is that if they must marry a foreigner they should NOT marry a Korean guy. The culture here is in many ways quite suffocating and is hard on the women psychologically. This is actually a big reason why Korean women want to marry foreigners, even though there is no financial incentive to do so.
These Vietnamese girls are better off with Taiwanese men.
But this is what I mean. Many of us take the country's wealth for granted. But this is what your country will be like without money.

Legal prostitution.

It's not prostitution. It's an arranged marriage.
It has more in common with old times when parents would marry their children for financial or political goals. Prostitution is a completely different ball game. That happens differently.
Girls overseas looking for work in Korea (where pay is better) show up thinking they're going to be waitresses and all of a sudden they're doing more than that.
