USO shows in Vietnam - need literature tips! info

Hi there. I'm new to this forum, but I wanted to try my luck. I'm a Swedish writer, working on a novel in which a character worked with the USO to arrange shows in Vietnam. Does anyone know any good books to peruse? I'm not going to go into detail a lot. I'm looking for the general picture, perhaps a glimpse of how the shows were arranged. Books, web resources, articles - anything at all will be much appreciated!

If you can try to get an interview with Ann Margaret. She was a great supporter of the USO and went on many of their tours to Vietnam. She always went out of her way to sign her book for Vietnam vets, referring to them as "her gentlemen".

Go to the USO web site and contact them with questions. Might also try Bob Hope books.
