| Optio | Post; USN Destroyers engage pirates; in hot pursuithttp://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/africa...tes/index.html Responding to distress calls, the USS Porter fired at and sank two pirate skiffs tied up to a hijacked Japanese-owned freighter. Now the USS Arleigh Burke is in hot pursuit of the freighter as it retreats into Somalian territorial waters. The Somali government has authorized the Arleigh Burke and a multinational task force to enter their waters in order to hunt down the pirates. Pirates of the Arabian Sea, anyone?
